Quick review. Everyone one knows gears of war by now, so there is no need to go to in depth with this review. This is a great game that expands on the story of previous game with the history of the locust, where they come from, and Kait's connection to them. The campaign delivers some really solid gameplay and story telling with some really cool open world type of maps to explore with your "skiff" vehicle which is new to the gears franchise. New enemies, new weapons, some slightly improved gameplay mechanics, and epic scenes/battles during campaign really make this a great addition to the franchise. This game has plenty of different game modes as well to keep you playing after campaign like versus, horde, online, and new to the franchise escape mode. Overall a really fun game which I recomme 2019-09-21
